Every year (well, since 2010 :) we go to a Bed and Breakfast to celebrate our anniversary. This year, we're in Jefferson, TX. We're about to go to Caddo Lake State Park to go canoeing and hiking!
When I first moved to Texas, I really missed the beauty of Princeton, NJ. Since living here, I've learned to really appreciate the diversity of God's creation. There is beauty in the tapestry of color in a NJ autumn-- nobody can argue with that. But there is also beauty in the earth tones of a Texas plain or farmland. Living here has exposed me to the many facets of God's creative expression of Himself; from the lush colors and seasons of a place like NJ to the rugged angles and vast expanses of sky in a place in TX.
